MATARAM, — Governor of NTB, Dr. H. Zulkieflimansyah welcomed the participants of the Ironman 70.3 Lombok 2022 Triathlon sport event at the Welcome Dinner held at the Holiday Resort Lombok, Kab. West Lombok, Thursday (06/10).
“I am very happy that you can come and visit our province in NTB. Saturday became the moment of truth, a memorable event. Hopefully, it will not only convey a deep impression of NTB, but also get something meaningful in life," said the Governor.
Bang Zul, his nickname also said that next year (2023), NTB Province will again host the MotoGP racing event. He hopes that in the future these international events can be held close together, so that pre-tourists can enjoy NTB longer.
"Next year Lombok will be the host of MotoGP, we hope the Ironman and MotoGP events next year can be together or close together. Hopefully you will enjoy it here, and not only enjoy the Ironman event, but also other events,” he said.
To note, on Thursday (6/10) afternoon, as many as 114 participants of the Ironman 70.3 Lombok event arrived at Zainuddin Abdul Majid International Airport (BIZAM). In addition to the participants who came today, on the previous day other participants had arrived and tomorrow is also scheduled to come several other participants.
Also attending the welcome dinner were several OPD Heads of the NTB Provincial Government and related stakeholders.(gn)
